Why we love dogs, yet eat cows, shows the disconnect we have as a society. Most of us have never been exposed to cows on an up close and personal level.
So it makes sense that between that, and between euphemisms, the secrecy of the meat industry, and being brought up in a society that says eating cows is normal and necessary, that we would view cows as different from dogs.
Well, they’re not different. Just bigger.
